Pay-it-forward

Its being a season of love, bonding, friendship, giving, sharing , happiness and all other good things around us . On this fine note, Im happy to announce that I will be spreading the concept of Pay-it-forward through my blog. I came across this concept in Preetilata's blog in which I also participated , so here is my turn to send a small handmade gift to the first 3 blog friends who comment in this post who in turn accept to play pay-it-forward and post about it in their blog.

This is how the challenge goes "I promise to send a small handmade gift to the first three people who reply to this post on my blog, specifying that they accept the PIF challenge. I do not know what the gift will be as of now, but it will be something personalized and I promise to have it delivered to them within one year from today, no matter what. Of course, as the name indicates, the condition is that all three of them must in turn pay it forward the same way, by putting up a post linking to this one on their blog and promising to send three others a handmade gift. "

I think this is a wondeful idea to prove, friendship knows no boundaries and let the world unite through Blogsville. With my blog celebrating its 100th post Im planning to give 2 more hand made gifts in addition to the previous three but the rules remain the same, you must be ready to play pay-it-forward and post about it in your blog :) LET THE WORLD UNITE AND LETS ALL HAVE A WONDEFUL NEW YEAR 2008!

Though i am not very sure and really not intended to get any gift except a companionship as a fellow blogger at this stage, this reply goes!!

A Very Happy New Year to you and all your near & dears Shalini.

Ready to Rock......... :)

this is a very good idea actually. to pay it forward. but the understanding i have about paying-it-forward is to continue the kind act of kindness to someone else and pass it on. does not actually have to involve gifts.
but then again gifts are the best form of kindness!
