Climbing the staircase = Success in your career
Climbing the staircase under difficult condition (like say slippery or real narrow ones) = True success as one has overcome the difficult time to achieve what one needs.

While trying to climb under difficult condition , if one looses balance and injures his hand or leg its his own loss . Similarly, if one looses his values in life or the ethics to be successful its again his own loss.
