Ayan - Movie Review

I finally caught up with Surya and Tamana starer Ayan last night at Inox with my parents. The long delay in catching up with the movie was due to my semester practical exams which jus' got over 2 days back .

As for the movie - as always Surya was at his best , Tamana was good too and all the other actors did a great job as well .. The songs were bautifully scened but the only thing I didnt like much about the film was the violence factor , guess it was a little over board . It was a complete entertainer otherwise - jus' couldn't figure out how the time flew by :)

Today I have a holiday cause of bandh .. yay!! A much needed one after those dreadful prac. exams

i went to catch it last week end with my brothers. i picked a 12.30 am movie, with 2 theaters showing, yet i didn't get tickets. i watched fast and the furious instead.

see how my luck will be this weekend.

I just watched the movie yesterday and i find the movie excellent. but the story's concept was copid from an english movie "catch me if you can" in which Tom hanks and Leonado di Caprio shined.

You could probably catch up with it if you are a great Surya fan like I am :)

am sorry to disagree with you... but Ion was so full of clich├ęs that i felt like the director lost interst in the movie by half time.

- the romance could not be more blunt - (come on no more hero heroine dashing into each other when heroine is wearing thavani - aargh.. :X)

- the screen play sags (a romance song immediately after heroine's bro dies... oh my god)

- the hero is a student, expert computer genius who points out that since there are old movies in the pc, nero is not burning the discs (wow, what a deduction.)

- Surya who is a real good actor has not been used as much as his abs have been used.

- finally the best of all - Surya can do anything and everything concept of the movie that lacks the realism and makes the whole movie into another boring masala.

and hey I am really sorry to have taken down to write like this. never really like to criticize anything but i felt so funny reading the band wagon comments that i felt that i needed to put in a worthy hard hitting comment.

and I too love surya - My fav movies being kakha kakha, mounam paesiyathe.

Surya is a better actor than the rest of the other guys to do such silly masalas...... :)
