Birthday by the Sea

First and foremost இனிய தமிழ் புத்தாண்டு நல்வாழ்த்துகள் (wishing you a very happy tamil New year).

My tamil New year day happened to be super busy just like the wat it has been the last 4 years, as the day also happens to be the birthday of my friend D. This time over, we decided to surprise D by cutting cake in the sea and this is what followed ...

We started off from the Chennai harbour .. and went on a fun ride into the sea for an hour and D cut the cake in the back drop of a huge carrier ship, was one of a kind experience. Anybody who loves the sea (or even otherwise) should really try this out, a memory I would remember my whole life through .. I am not a great fan of venturing out into the sea but this experience makes me want to do more such stuff . This activity has been done as a part of the Royal Madras yatch club and you can also do fishing, which means more time in the sea .. will probably try out fishing the next time I am there :) :)

At long last, a working professional, congrats. I haven't been to your blog in a long while and am happy that your dreams seem to be coming true.

All the best, and may all your dreams come true in small and big ways.

BTW, has anyone told you you're better looking now than ever before?

Be 'life' confident (from an AXA advertisement in Singapore, so not my original), and one day, I hope you will serve as an icon to many Tamizhian males and females, on how to embrace modernity, and yet with deeply precious human values.

I see the Chinese race getting ahead in the world, my heart 'aches' as to why we can't be at least as good as them economically speaking, and be richer, be more successful, conquer the world, etc, and my heart aches....of course, I am a Tamizhan.

Ok, my real reason for this posting, do you know the best place in Mylapore area to have dosas, with a great atmosphere, outside of Madras Woodlands and all the Saraavana Bhavans....as I've eaten too often at them!

@Anonymous

Thanks !

As for the restaurant in Mylapore, you can probably try out Mahamudra, its a veg fine dining place. Hope you like it ! Haven't tried it yet but im sure the Dosas should be good looking at the place :)
