What Vinayaka chaturthi meant to me as a kid .. well, it almost means the same even now...
It's the bday of the cutest god :D ... The first festival of the season ... Serial lights everywhere.. Shopping for the festival... I especially like the umbrella shopping for vinayaka... making modhagams/kozhukattai for hours together... temple visits ... the only difference is until a few years back i had my exams starting right after the festival but not anymore... So, which means more fun ... Happy eating.. Have fun !

i passed by the Vinayaka chaturthi... when we passed by the Hindu Temple last sat nite.. i saw indians throwing coconuts in the street...
