The 5th century - 500

My 500 th post in this blog space .. I can't be more happier .. :) :)
Four years + loads of beautiful moments + series of inspiring stories + wonderful blog friends + a great way to share my life's happenings with friends and family around the globe .. I'm so glad I started blogging ..

I started blogging during my second year of college .. It was one place where I could be my happiest best when things were not really going great for me .. My blog was a world on it's own for me where I chose to share only my good times and things that I felt happy about .. These were conscious decisions that I stood by time to time when ever I felt like cribbing or complaining ..( there are enough and more problems all around and I didn't want to treat my readers to mine)

Its the love from all my all my blog buddies, family and friends that's has kept my blogging spirits alive :) :) . I can hear a lot of you saying that my blogging spirits high in the recent past ... With work, blogging has taken a back seat ..however, with the IPad I am kicked at the thought of making a blog post rather than the age old method of starting the lap top and waiting for it to boot ;)

With this and much more to come .. I am so glad I started blogging and would love to continue to do so :) :)

We are visiting Chennai, all the way from Montreux, Switzerland and were delighted to follow your 'tip' and enjoy a sumptuous dinner at the Mahamudra restt, along Luz Church Rd, which is of course part of the ISHA Life chain.

It will be etched in our memories for a long time to come, so thank you again, you are a 'perfect' blogger, and may the good spirits bless you with great health, many career and other successes and yes, plenty plenty of energy to blog, work, travel, enjoy, celebrate and perhaps take on very serious commitments (of the family variety) in time to come. But no matter, there is a lot of time for that!

Thanks again,

You can try out Rajdhani in Express Avenue mall. They serve Rajasthani and Gujarathi veg food.

I'm so glad you liked your visit to Mahamudra :) :) Happy to hear from you again :)

Let me know in case you need any other suggestions.

How are you liking your stay in Chennai ? Is it the first time your visiting Chennai ?

We recently bought a 1 bedroom apt at Kutchery Road, as we'd 'die for' carnatic music. But living in Montreux 7 months of the year, per current plans, we also 'die for' jazz, the Alps, fine wines, Swiss chocs, Gruyere cheese and other good things in life from there. So this little discovery thanks to you of yesterday, is perfect, as it is a healthy, obligatory stop before/after concerts at so many halls littered within 2km of the restaurant.

We return in Oct, to spend 3 months, and if you will permit, we would like to bring you some Swiss goodies, esp at that time of year: chocs, cheese so we can do our little bit to keep your high energy level for bringing more good things to good people around the world!

My own first visit to India was in 1976, but while we have been to most of the concert halls in Chennai over the years, my previous visits only involved stays at Madras Woodlands and eating at either their inhouse restaurant or the Saravaana Bhavan opposite. It is you who has introduced us to the whole new world of possibilities, so we look forward to more of your experience sharing in the months to come.

Thanks again, and all the best,
