It is yet another proud moment for those associated with SRM University as it has been ranked 8th in the country in both Engineering as well as Medical studies .
Apart from that it has been ranked the third best in South India taking into consideration all the private and goverment educational institutions .
I am so proud! :) I am an SRMite! :)
This ranking was out on The Times of India Issue dated 30 March 2009. Will update this post with the link soon .

Yup, I did realise IIT,Madras not being in the list..
But, well.. was jus' happy seeing SRM in it thou' I knew the rating wasn't factual.
Am an arts grad.. so these rankings dont apply to me :P

Yup, thats exactly from where the geeks turn out.. but there were a few IIT s mentioned in the list but not the Madras one.. Wondering y? May be it wasn't among the 77 institutions that partcicipated .

Probably the geeks were attending the star wars convention or the comic book meet up when the jury came to IIT madras.
