Sad but true.
we talk about people not being educated. we talk about the facilties and luxuries. but we have be ignorant about the fact that many people die because of the lack of teh bare minimm - FOOD.

So true, I have decided not to waste food here after. There are so many in the world who don' even get a proper meal.

i saw it first hand when i went to Thailand when i was in the air force. the singapore air force and thai air force were having a join training. and part of the exchange program was to donate computers to a local school.
during that program we gave away ice creams to the children which was in their classrooms where they brought their lunch boxes. when we got a glimpse into the lunch boxes, we were shocked. they were not left overs but the food they brought was rice but just not fresh at all.
our hearts sank. The rich in Thailand are extremely rich, and the poor simply had nothing. when i spoke to a Thai Major over this he told me just one word "politics".

@ shalini - hmhm... man I am disheartened to know that a you tube video is needed for people to realize the hunger around them. have you seen the news - tamil ealem people are starving to death in the war zone.

and yeah, i appreciate your oath of not wasting food. always call the nearest holy cross if you have left overs from party. they will know how to use it best.

and @ Sri ram JP - grow up dude. you need not leave half of your food in your plate... please dont waste it. thats enough.

and yeah hunger is a topic that needs to be discussed at such forums so thanks 4 posting the video.
