Happy friendship day wishes :)

Friendship day always created a kinda stir in me, right from the times I remember. I guess I first celebrated friendship day when I was in my sixth standard and almost a week before the day I used to plan out on the number of friendship bands and cards I will have to get for all my friends. I remember times when I ended up getting around thirty to fourty bands covering all my friends from school, colony, music class, drawing class, friends from my van with whom I used to travel to school everyday....

I still have those colorful bands which my friends gave me.. It meant so much to me then and it still does.. Now at a time when I am through college and when most of us are entering post graduate studies or turning into working professionals I am still glad that my close ones know how much these bands mean to me .. Thou they call em kiddish and stuff I am glad and delighted to get friendship bands from close friends :))

The beautiful memories, fun times in school/college, crazy fun at each others home, group studies, fun college trips, school camps, dance competitons, culturals, college fests, fights, arguments, those long phone talks, crazy car rides, eating out, movies and all those stuff that I truly miss doing now.

A very happy friendship day to all my blog buddies .. It has been an amazing day for me thou' it didn't start all that well .. It turned out to be awesome fun .. I had loadsa plans in mind but couldnt really meet all my friends whom i wanted too , but was neverthless fun !

Friendship Week

This was supposed to be my friendship day post, but as friendship day has already gone by.Here, comes my friendship week post ;)

Life is what one makes out of it and I truly believe friends play an integral part in each of our lives. Happiness is not the destination but is the process of attaining the destination. It is friends who makes the journey a fun filled and a memorable one making us enjoy the finer aspects of life :)

Right from my early childhood days I ve had some amazing friends. There were many who walked into my life and there were many who walked out as well, but there are very few who are there for us at all times. I cherish them all as I truly believe there is something that I can learn from each one of them.

Pulling each others leg,
The dance practices,
comments from your blog friends,
birthday parties,
emails from friends u've long lost touch with,
finding your childhood bussy in Orkut,
Fighting for each others lunch,
bunking classes,
group studies,
school culturals,
talks abt our crushes,
Last minute preparations,
Stay overs,
the silly fights,
shopping,
the wake up calls during exams,
picnics,
jumping school walls and what not...

We ve been there and done that. It is friendship that gives us some of life's rich experiences one would otherwise not get to enjoy. I'm so glad to have had some of the best people as my friends through my life. Love you all.
